Here's the important part — when we make soap the traditional way, the lye completely reacts with the oils during the soap-making process. By the time your soap is fully cured and ready to use, there's no lye left in the bar at all.


Without lye, you can't make real soap. It's like how you need flour to make bread — it's an essential part of the process, but the final product is completely different from the raw ingredient.

Do you guys have vegan soaps?
We don't currently offer vegan soaps. We use beef tallow in our recipes because it has amazing benefits for aging skin — it's incredibly nourishing and helps keep mature skin soft and healthy.

For other areas like around the eyes, we typically do not recommend use around the delicate eye area. The skin around the eyes is thinner and more sensitive, making it prone to irritation.

We also made sure to incorporate 3 different Kaolin Clays to help effectively draw out excess oil from the skin, helping to unclog pores. 

 

However, even with all of these efforts we still recommend performing a patch test if you have very oily or acne-prone skin.
