We employ the "cold processing" method, meaning we do not add heat or chemicals to our soaps. 

 

Our soaps are stored in a clean ventilated area to naturally cure for 6 weeks ensuring there is zero lye content in the final product.

Do I need both, or can I the soap alone?

You can absolutely use the soap bar alone and see softer, more comfortable skin.

Where does it help most with dry crepey skin?

Our Skin Restore Soap is primarily made for crepey skin on the:

  • Chest
  • Back of hands
  • Neck
  • Décolleté
  • Above the knees
  • Arms/forearms

For other areas like around the eyes, we typically do not recommend use around the delicate eye area. The skin around the eyes is thinner and more sensitive, making it prone to irritation.

Is Skin Restore non-comedogenic? 

Yes, (no really) even though our soap is made with coconut oil (known to clog pores) we use mindful amounts and split the amount in half by incorporating fractionated coconut oil (a refined non-comedogenic alternative). 

 

We also made sure to incorporate 3 different Kaolin Clays to help effectively draw out excess oil from the skin, helping to unclog pores. 

 

However, even with all of these efforts we still recommend performing a patch test if you have very oily or acne-prone skin.
